Dylan oversees the strategic growth, safety, operations, employee development and engagement, company profit and loss, and business relationships across Summit Line Construction.
Prior to joining Summit, Dylan has served in multiple senior executive roles for PAR Electrical Contractors, LLC and Longfellow Drilling, a Division of PAR Electrical Contractors, LLC. He brings more than 15 years of utility and renewable industry experience to Summit, comprising both engineering and construction business management. His overall responsibility includes managing contractors who have completed some of the largest and most complex electrical utility transmission line, substation, and renewable energy projects in the country.
Dylan is committed to being an inclusive leader emphasizing the importance of employee development, employee engagement, company culture, and ESG throughout Summit’s operations. Dylan enjoys the strategic challenge of providing long term growth and maturation of the company while providing stability for employees and local communities, ensuring the small day to day operations of the company are in alignment with global strategy.
Dylan holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Missouri – Columbia and a Master of Business Administration from Ohio University. He is a member PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) and the NECA Western Line Constructors Chapter. Dylan lives in Heber City, Utah with his wife and two children.
Ryan oversees all financial aspects across Summit Line Construction, provides strategic insights, manages risk, and helps to ensure that every financial decision aligns with the company’s goals.
Prior to joining Summit, Ryan’s career included roles in public accounting where he spent four years working in Zurich, Switzerland before he joined the construction industry. He has served in accounting roles at Balfour Beatty Construction and DPR Construction. Ryan enjoys working in the utility construction industry for the type of people it attracts – hardworking, optimistic, with an anything-is-possible attitude.
Ryan is committed to building teams and investing in people toward collective success. He enjoys the strategic challenge of solving complex problems through teamwork involving high levels of communication and multi-faceted coordination. Ryan is fueled by opportunities to connect with new people and positively impact the company through shared accomplishments.
Ryan holds a Bachelors in Business Administration and a Masters in Accounting from the University of Texas at Austin, and is a CPA registered in the state of Texas. Ryan lives in Park City, Utah with his wife and two boys.
Nate oversees the safe delivery of utility construction projects through the development of safety programs, policies, and processes across Summit Line Construction. With his team of safety professionals and administrative staff, Nate is responsible for the development, coordination, and implementation of occupational health policies and procedures to promote and ensure effective safety operations throughout the organization.
Prior to joining Summit, Nate has held a variety of project management and sales roles. He enjoys the challenge of overcoming objections to compliance and new processes, and excels at leading teams through complex situations toward a safer workplace.
Nate is committed to helping build and promote a safer workplace by engaging with Summit Line executive management and field resources. His goal is to create, manage, and review new and current policies and protocols to ensure employees are supported at every level and have the tools necessary to “fail safely,” assured everyone goes home safe every day.
Nate holds a Bachelors of Science in Criminal Justice from the University of Missouri St. Louis. He is a member of the American Society of Safety Engineers, the Alliance Safety Council, and the USA Hockey – Missouri Central States Division where he participates in coaching and development. Nate lives in Herriman, Utah with his wife and two daughters.
Reed works alongside each team within Summit Line Construction, developing leaders and supporting individual and company growth and processes, including client relationships, estimates, projects, and fleet, safety, and construction teams. Reed ensures client security while providing employees a safe, supportive, and desirable work environment. Reed is grateful to be a part of a team that sets an example in the industry through integrity, principals, safety practices, quality, and work ethic.
Prior to joining Summit, Reed has served in roles spanning multiple construction industries from laborer to superintendent. This experience combined with time as licensed general contractor in Utah and California working on small residential and commercial projects and large highway projects, has given Reed a well rounded approach to decision-making in his career.
Reed is committed to safety and quality throughout Summit’s operations, with the expectation that leading well now will keep the Summit Line team successful for many years past his employment. Reed enjoys the challenge of taking the most complicated and difficult working environments and creating quality solutions that relieve concerns and provide safety for his teams through the challenges presented.
Reed attended the Northwest Line College for a Substation Tech Apprenticeship. He lives in Bluffdale, Utah with his wife and two children.
Kevin oversees the successful execution of large-scale projects across Summit Line Construction. From estimating to mobilizing construction crews, working closely with project management, safety, HR, IT, and legal teams to ensure that Summit executes each project’s scope in a way that complies with the company’s long-term goals and the goals of their clients.
Prior to joining Summit, Kevin has served in a variety of construction roles including as a journeyman lineman, foreman, and general foreman. He brings more than 28 years of utility construction experience to Summit. His overall responsibility includes managing teams completing some of the largest and most complex electrical utility transmission line projects in the country.
Kevin is committed to leading the industry through building electrical infrastructure that meets the highest safety and quality standards possible – not only raising the bar for the whole industry, but so every crew member can come home safely at the end of the day. Kevin enjoys the challenge of meeting the need for power in an ever-changing environment with evolving requirements, keeping him and every member of the Summit team sharp in their knowledge of what is required to operate and execute projects with the highest level of safety and professionalism.
Kevin attended UVCC lineman training and completed the Mountain States Joint Apprenticeship/Training Committee. He lives in Wallsburg, Utah with his wife and three children.
Troy oversees the daily operations of the Transmission and Distribution crews across Summit Line Construction, ensuring they have the tools, equipment and training to do their jobs safely and successfully. Troy works closely with project managers and clients from start to finish, from accurate project estimates to problem-solving, he ensures each job is done safely, under budget, and constructed on schedule.
Prior to joining Summit, Troy has served has a Lineman, Foreman, General Foreman, Superintendent, and Construction Manager. This varied experience combined with 20 years as a Journeyman Lineman has given Troy the ability to understand the needs of his teams in the field and provide the direction and tools necessary to be successful.
Troy attended Southern Utah University, Utah Valley University Line Trade, and the Mountain States Line Constructors Apprenticeship program. Troy holds a position on the Mountain States Apprentice Board and an IBEW Member. He lives in Riverton, Utah with his wife and four children.
Brian oversees the safety, operational performance, and financial success of the Northern California and Northern Nevada Summit Line Construction operation, with a particular focus on the PG&E client.
Prior to joining Summit, Brian’s career began as a U.S. Army Engineer Officer and continued through 10 years at PG&E with roles including Program Manager, Work Planning & Scheduling Manager, Distribution Ops Superintendent, and Distribution Ops Director, where he developed a strong respect for the lineman craft. With this experience, Brian understands both the client and contractor sides of the utility construction industry – driving him to deliver safe, high quality results for customers of Summit Line.
Influenced by his background in the military, Brian’s commitment to leadership goes far beyond his job title. During his time at PG&E, Brian developed a Veteran’s Employee Resource Group to assist veterans with accessing resources and advancing their careers. He also led several PG&E Public Safety Power Shutoff Events as a Division and Region Incident Commander.
Brian holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point as well as an Master of Business Administration from Haas School of Business, UC Berkeley. He lives in Shingle Springs, California with his wife and two children.
Patrick is committed to creating an exceptional employee experience that drives successful growth and overall organizational maturity at Summit Line Construction. His role includes ensuring human resources and regulatory compliance, improving the performance of the organization and people operations to cultivate a culture of performance and accountability.
Patrick is an accomplished senior Human Resources and Organizational Development professional with 20+ years of experience. He has a Ph.D. in Organizational Performance and has led both large and small scale global initiatives impacting thousands of employees in manufacturing, high tech, financial, healthcare, hospitality, retail, government, and service industries.
With a proven track record of leadership, Patrick has experience:
Designing and implementing strategic solutions (workforce planning, job analysis and design, compensation design/administration, process and performance analysis) that support and are fully aligned with organizational strategy and goals.
Designing organizational, functional, and team performance metrics, KPIs, and performance scorecards.
Executing initiatives to optimize employee/team performance, engagement and create an exceptional performance driven team culture.
Managing all aspects of the employee lifecycle from recruitment, hiring, onboarding, development, performance management, succession, and separation.
In addition to his professional pathway, Patrick is also a former elite level rugby player (over 20 years) including playing for the USA Eagles. He currently volunteers his time coaching youth age, high school, collegiate, men’s club side, and high-performance travel squads. Patrick and his wife Kaylene are celebrating being empty nesters.
